Starting the year off right with Autoculture again. Last year was pretty good, but the number of cars I'm actually interested in seeing has dwindled considerably and quite a lot of the stuff I've seen quite a few times now. That isn't to say there aren't some stunning vehicles there, but the overall feel this year was that fewer people are coming along. I can imagine how much it must cost to put on an event like this with such a massive venue, but being that tickets are £20 each I can see why people aren't overwhelming the place.
First off I love a little truck, especially one that looks like this.
Even more so when they look like this. Wheel choice leagues ahead of the Skoda.
Seen this a few times but it's a fantastic looking car.
Every man and his dog has a red golf.
G40 with the Irish style plate, or GT with the German plate?
One of the few modern cars I really enjoy seeing. I think Mercedes, more than most other brands, maintain a bit of the gravitas they once had.
I want to see this in better lighting before I start getting loads of photos because the lights in the hall are absolutely dismal, but a gorgeous car nonetheless.
Very much like the style of this car.
Not sure what to think of this. I like the smoothness of the front end but I don't like the random cutouts all over the bonnet. It's sort of a weird combo of a lot of disparate styles in a strange little package. The Kirkey style dragster seats are not something I've ever seen in a road car, let alone a modern road car, and certainly not one that also has hydro dipped visors.
